Community & Industry Engagement
Partnerships are structural to our curriculum. Every major design project begins with a real partner, a real challenge, and real users.
Our collaborators participate actively from the earliest stage. Partners work with the department to define the design challenge, then remain involved throughout the development process alongside students. This produces work that is grounded and applicable.
Our students are trained to lead user research with empathy, to communicate across professional boundaries, and to take accountability for their design decisions. Partners return because the work delivers.
Our network spans healthcare, social services, industry, technology, and public institutions. We have maintained a collaboration with Hadassah University Hospital on Mount Scopus for over a decade, with students working in clinical environments alongside patients, caregivers, and medical teams. Hundreds of students have worked within active partnerships throughout their studies.
We are open to collaboration with academic institutions and organizations alike - whether through structured exchange programs or project-based partnerships.
