The Inclusive Approach
The Bachelor’s program in Inclusive Industrial Design is grounded in the belief that design has the power to improve quality of life for individuals and communities, and to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive society.
Our inclusive approach addresses the needs of diverse populations—women and men, young and old, people with disabilities, and individuals from different cultural backgrounds. We aim to design products, environments, and interfaces that respond to a wide range of human needs.
This philosophy shapes the way we educate our designers: cultivating deep understanding of people, encouraging alternative ways of thinking, and translating human needs into thoughtful, impactful design solutions that can create meaningful change. -
Learning Skills
The curriculum is designed to cultivate skills in independent research, critical thinking, and the ability to lead development processes in dynamic and evolving environments. We prepare students to address current and future challenges in a rapidly changing global context, while equipping them with tools for long-term professional and personal growth.

Personal Mentorship
Studying Inclusive Industrial Design is a personal journey of professional development. The department places strong emphasis on close mentorship, ongoing support, and individualized guidance for each student throughout their studies, with the aim of enabling every student to realize their full potential and creative capacity.
The academic staff consists of active practitioners with extensive professional experience, alongside members of the younger generation of designers. Together, they operate at the forefront of industry and technology, sharing their knowledge and practice-based expertise to support and shape the next generation of designers.
Faculty Exchange & Collaboration
Student Exchange
We warmly welcome international students and encourage our own students to study abroad. Student mobility broadens horizons, develops cultural sensitivity, and promotes lifelong professional networks.
Recent partnerships include MOME (Hungary), Anant University (India), West Bohemia University (Czech Republic), and the STARC Institute (Cyprus). Students have also taken part in summer programs at Škoda Auto University (Czech Republic).
