    Works in shifts - two shifts working with pediatric ophthalmologists, a shift in the

    cornea, a shift at the Michelson Institute and a shift in adjusting special contact

    lenses for corneal patients in particular.

    Refractive tests, fitting glasses and prisms, corneal topography, biometrics and

    contact lens fitting. Work in regular shifts - pediatric specialist and especially - cornea

    and cataract specialist - including fitting special contact lenses for corneal patients in

    particular.

    Dr. Eyal Gal holds a B.Sc./B.Optom from Bar-Ilan University and an M.Optom with honors from Hadassah Academic College. He earned his Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain, with a focus on contact lens design for keratoconus and post-keratoplasty (PKP), emphasizing specialty contact lenses for ocular diseases.

    He is a lecturer and the Director of the Contact Lens Laboratories and Clinics at the Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, where he oversees both graduate (Israeli and international) and undergraduate clinical training in specialty contact lenses. Dr. Gal co-instructs the Final Research Project course and teaches Advanced Contact Lens Techniques within the M.Optom and undergraduate programs, as well as myopia management clinics.

    In his academic and clinical pursuits, Dr. Gal collaborates with prominent international contact lens companies such as CooperVision Israel, SwissLens (Switzerland), Spectrum INC (USA),Ultavision (UK) and Mark’ennovy-Euclid (Spain).
