Winning of E-TALK at the Dubai Competition - Prototypes for Humanity
Out of 3,000 teams from 100 different countries that entered the competition in Dubai, the project by E-TALK, initiated by students from The Blender, stood out both in the essence of the problem it represents and in its proposed solution.
The students participated in a conference in Dubai where they had the opportunity to present their projects and receive support from ventures and a venture capital fund that will back the project.
The “Prototypes for Humanity” conference showcases the most interesting innovations by students in academic institutions on global change, social responsibility, and raising awareness of global issues, with the goal of encouraging solutions and promoting actions for positive social and environmental impact.
Every year, the projects presented offer the public an opportunity to delve into a world of academic inventiveness that often seems distant outside the campus, by showcasing the work of young minds dealing with complex issues around the world.
The initiative brings together key stakeholders who can accelerate impactful actions, including alumni, professors, and leaders in governmental, corporate, and entrepreneurial ecosystems, leveraging academic innovation and harnessing the power of partnerships to deliver tangible impact in the real world.

The Blender's Unveiling Event for Students from the Ultra-Orthodox Campus
With the opening of the summer semester at the Strauss Campus, an exposure event for The Blender was held for students from the Ultra-Orthodox community. The students were given a glimpse into the world of entrepreneurship through fascinating lectures by entrepreneurs from the Ultra-Orthodox community.
Uri Kessler, an entrepreneur from the Ultra-Orthodox sector, shared his venture "Small Story" that he established as a student - a social project for preserving and documenting Holocaust events in collaboration with the younger generation.
Yoni Luxenburg spoke about his journey from being a Yeshiva student with no knowledge or understanding of programming or business management, to becoming a successful entrepreneur today.
Yoni is a co-founder and CEO of Elementor, the most successful startup established by entrepreneurs from the Ultra-Orthodox community, which has raised tens of millions of dollars, employs hundreds of workers, and sells its products worldwide.
The entrepreneurs shared the challenges they faced in integrating into the entrepreneurial and business world, the difficulties they encountered along the way, and ultimately the satisfaction they felt with their successes. Among the tips they gave to the students: think big, don't give up on dreams, don't be afraid to fail, persevere despite the difficulties, learn, grow, and develop.
