HOPE – Higher Education For Openness, Peace & Empathy

HOPE is an international collaborative project that brings together higher education institutions from Germany, Greece, and Israel to strengthen the role of universities in promoting peacebuilding, dialogue, and constructive conflict resolution.

The project supports the development of innovative curricula, research, and academic initiatives that foster intercultural understanding, reconciliation, and coexistence. Through faculty training, student engagement, virtual mobility, collaborative research, and international knowledge exchange, HOPE equips higher education institutions with the tools to prepare future professionals to address complex social challenges and contribute to more inclusive and resilient societies.

At Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, HOPE reflects our commitment to international cooperation, academic excellence, and the belief that higher education can play a meaningful role in building understanding across communities.

HOPE השכלה גבוהה למען בניית שלום ופיוס

HOPE  הוא פרויקט בינלאומי המשלב מוסדות להשכלה גבוהה מגרמניה, יוון וישראל, במטרה לחזק את תפקידן של האוניברסיטאות והמכללות בקידום בניית שלום, דיאלוג ויישוב סכסוכים בדרכי שלום.

הפרויקט מקדם פיתוח תוכניות לימוד חדשניות, מחקר ויוזמות אקדמיות המעודדות הבנה בין-תרבותית, פיוס ודו־קיום. באמצעות הכשרת חברי סגל, מעורבות סטודנטים, ניידות וירטואלית, מחקר משותף וחילופי ידע בינלאומיים, מעניק HOPE למוסדות ההשכלה הגבוהה כלים להכשרת דור העתיד להתמודדות עם אתגרים חברתיים מורכבים ולתרומה לחברה מכילה, עמידה ומשגשגת יותר.

במרכז האקדמי הרב־תחומי ירושלים, השתתפותנו בפרויקט HOPE משקפת את מחויבותנו לשיתוף פעולה בינלאומי, למצוינות אקדמית ולאמונה כי להשכלה גבוהה תפקיד משמעותי בקידום הבנה, הידברות וחוסן חברתי.
