The JMC International Office Team
Yael Catalan - Director
As the founder and director of the International Office at Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, Yael has played a key role in developing and leading the college’s internationalization strategy, focusing on building sustainable international networks, integrating global perspectives into academic culture, and ensuring the incorporating of internationalization into the institution’s long-term development. Her previous role as Head of the Student Authority and founder of the Alumni Organization deepened her understanding and passion for institutional engagement and student development.
Yael holds an MA in Non-Profit Management and Public Policy (2000) and a BA in International Relations and Arabic Literature & Language (1990) from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
In her professional work, Yael focuses on the organizational role of the International Office, Her primary interest is in understanding how international connections and collaborations impact on the institution, its community of students and staff, and its partners, and how these parties can contribute to solidifying practical frameworks for resilience and continuity in higher education.

Taylor Brooke Khaleel – Programs Manager
Taylor Brooke Khaleel joined the team in 2021 and now serves as the International Office’s Programs Manager, responsible for developing student and staff mobility, supporting intercultural exchange, and cultivating international collaborations. She has advanced Erasmus+ partnerships, represented JMC in foreign delegations, contributed to the launch of innovative academic programs, and established internal systems to enhance efficiency, quality control, and student safety.
A JMC graduate with a BA in Behavioral Sciences, Taylor previously coordinated the office’s international marketing. She is especially passionate about furthering student recruitment, expanding global partnerships, and fostering meaningful connections across cultures.
