Atar Barosh and Galit Shvo Contribute to New Book on Design Education

Congratulations to Atar Barosh and Galit Shavu of the Department of Design on their contributions to the newly published book, How Do We Actually Teach Design?

Edited by Meirav Shami Peretz and published by Yoni Raz Portugali and Hila Toni Navok, the book is a comprehensive anthology showcasing studio assignments developed by many of Israel's leading design educators. Through project briefs, exercises, teaching methodologies, and studio processes, it offers a unique perspective on contemporary design education.

Atar Barosh contributed two studio projects that reflect his approach to teaching design through research, materials, technology, and production processes. Galit Shavu contributed an ongoing studio project exploring archetypes, perceptual patterns, human intuition, functionality, imagery, and morphology.

Expected to become a valuable resource for faculty, students, and researchers alike, the book makes an important contribution to the fields of design, design education, and design research.

We congratulate Atar Barosh and Galit Shvo on their participation in this significant publication.

The book can be purchased here.
