New Publication – Dr. Tal Dingott Alkopher, Department of Politics and Communication

Congratulations to Dr. Tal Dingott Alkopher from the Department of Politics and Communication on the publication of her new article in International Politics, co-authored with Dr. Eyal Robinson.

The article analyzes NATO’s communication strategies before and after the invasion of Ukraine, and leading up to the accession of Finland and Sweden—traditionally neutral states in the balance of power between Russia and the West. They argue that three communication strategies had a formative impact on public opinion in the two new member states, ultimately leading to their unprecedented decision to vote in favor of joining the alliance.
