A new project in the Inclusive Industrial Design program, DAN Department of Creative Human Design, in collaboration with the Israel–Czech Republic Friendship Association, revolves around the book “The Hidden Connection” by researcher Dr. Robert Riehak, which explores historical and cultural ties between Czech culture and Judaism.

As part of the project, fourth-year students in the program are creating visual imagery for the Hebrew edition of the book. Their work combines research, content analysis, and translation of ideas into a visual language.

To support the learning process, the students and faculty traveled to Prague for a study visit, where they met the author, explored the history and heritage of the Jewish community, and visited key sites around the city. During the trip, they defined the book’s content, design language, and guiding values.

The project is ongoing, and the work completed so far will form the basis for the Hebrew edition of the book as well as a companion exhibition to be showcased in the future.

The project is led by Liran Elbaz-Bloch, Zohar Shalev, and Achied Danziger.
