In mid-May, the International Office team visited Palacký University (UPOL) in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Joining the delegation were Dr. Liat Gantz, Chair of the Academic Steering Committee for Internationalization and Head of the M.Sc. Program in Vision Science and Optometry, and Dr. Lior Naamati-Schneider, a faculty member in the Department of Health Systems Management.

As part of the visit, Dr. Gantz delivered a guest lecture to the Faculty of Optometry, where she shared her latest research. The presentation was warmly received and sparked meaningful academic dialogue.

Looking ahead, two graduate students from the Optometry Master’s Program are scheduled to participate in a one-month clinical internship at UPOL, supported by the Czech–Israel Science and Research Cooperation Fund (Neuron).
