Dr. Reut Ifrah

Head of the Optometry Program at the Strauss Campus and a Senior Lecturer

Dr. Reut Ifrah is the Head of the Optometry Program at the Strauss Campus and a Senior Teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Optometry (B.Optom, M.Optom) from the Jerusalem Multidisciplinary College, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Medical Neurobiology (Biomedical Sciences) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a Doctorate (PhD) in Optometry from UPC University in Barcelona.

Dr. Ifrah teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate optometry programs, with teaching areas including geometrical and physical optics, clinical optometry, scientific writing, and clinical seminars. In addition, she serves as the Director of the college’s Dry Eye Clinic.

She is also a board member of the Israeli Society for Eye and Vision Research (ISVER).
