Ifat Keinan
senior lecturer
Ifat is a design researcher and industrial designer. She holds a B.Des. in Industrial Design from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem (2003), and an M.A. in Design Research from London Metropolitan University (2006). She is currently a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Social Welfare and Health Sciences at the University of Haifa.
Her research focuses on participatory design in medical and rehabilitative environments, aiming to advance healthcare through design.
A senior lecturer, she initiates and leads collaborations with non-profit organizations, hospitals, health centers, and a wide range of institutions in Israel and abroad.
She is the recipient of the Sandberg Prize for Research and Development in Design and Architecture for 2017–2018.
